Meet Ted
Executive Director
Ted Pickell trained extensively as an opera singer, & holds a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from Northwestern University, & a Bachelors of Music from University of the Pacific. Ted has appeared on stages throughout the United States including the San Diego Opera, Merola Opera Program, Des Moines Metro Opera, & Palm Beach Opera.
In addition to his deep love of performing, he adores technology. Ted always strives for the advancement of art through technology. Conduit Studios is a representation of those two great loves, and the desire to bring out the best in artists through superb video and audio recording.

When Ted isn't working, he enjoys hiking, running, cooking, spending time with family, & his Miniature Schnauzer.
Meet Jóhann
Creative Director
Being raised primarily in his native Iceland, Jóhann Schram Reed made his way across the Atlantic over a decade ago to pursue a career in music and media. Having completed both and undergraduate degree and a Master's Degree in Voice, he has since appeared nationwide as well as abroad on the stages of opera and musical theater.
​
An avid enthusiast of technology and media, Jóhann started making short films as a young boy in Iceland. To this day, he is passionate about storytelling, whether on stage or on film, through music or through prose.
Jóhann lives in Long Beach, CA with his wife, Emily, and their German Shepherd, Georgia. His other hobbies include hiking, films and traveling.
